In this quartet of friendship stories, the first two focus on the relationship between the blue octopus and his best friend Henry the penguin. When Henry's cousin from the Frozen North comes to town, Oswald feels left out as the birds bond over mackerel and polka. In the next story, he faces every child's fear when Henry decides to move north with his cousin. But unlike real life, Henry has a change of heart and decides to stay with his friends only to fight with Daisy in the next episode after she uses his spoon as a shovel. The final episode finds all the friends overcoming obstacles to see a musical act together. This Nick Jr. series features kid-friendly voices from the expected--cartoon veteran Debi Derryberry and The Wonder Years' Fred Savage--as well as the unexpected: Laverne and Shirley's David Lander and early SNL regular Laraine Newman. Teaches good values

This video and Oswald Outdoors are my 4-year old daughter's favorite videos. She watches them every day. Oswald is a friendly, helpful guy, and the situations illustrate common problems and solutions that preschoolers face. Highly recommend!

Wish this was a DVD!

But well worth it, anyway. We have gotten hours and hours of viewing from this tape! Oswald is the best!

I don't even have kids

And this is one of my favorite cartoons, ever! It's well animated and just so sweet. I love it.
