John Wayne Gacy was a successful businessman, family man, and community-politics activist by day. At night, he transformed into a cruising, child molesting, and "rope trick" strangling clown. When Gacy was finally pinned for the murder of a teenage boy, the police had no idea of the horrors lying under the Gacy residence. When all was said and done, the authorities had uncovered a personal cemetery of 22 victims under his house. In John Wayne Gacy: Vol. 3, FBI profilers analyze the events in Gacy's life that shaped his mental makeup, leading him to change into the infamous "killer clown." --Rob Bracco
Of course the music adds the eeriness needed for a story like Dahmer's but hopefully A&E's future documentaries will be more substantive.
This is an A&E original documentary which uses the same stale images frame after frame, sometimes boring the viewer with facts that really don't expose much of what made this psychotic KILLER CLOWN tick.
I was disappointed I purchased this tape rather than just renting it as I doubt I'd pass it on to others interested in the subject of true crime. There are other more informative and well done documentaries out there than this one.
