highly recommended

Designed for use on multi-surfaces, corners, flat, round and multi-dimensional construction. Eases access to gutters and downspouts during installation or repair and to soffits for electrical and siding applications. Can be used all around the house without having to remove from ladder. Easy connection, removal and storage. Powder coated in safety yellow for visibility, with rubber bumpers to protect building surfaces.

Outstanding on corners

This product is great! It is exceptionally stable, once you get it in place with equal amounts of the stabilizer on both sides of the corner. And the hold out, the distance from the corner to the ladder, is excellent. It might look a little too large on the ground, but once it is around a corner, it is great. I never leave home without it.

works great, easy to switch from latter to latter. works on corners, and flat surfaces. makes working at the top of ladder much easier, and safer.

Unique - but a good idea

I looked at the corner frame when I bought my 32 ft 300lb ladder, but I didn't think I would need it. Funny how things work. I was replacing two exterior motion detection light fixtures for my Mom and Dad. Yep, one of them was at the corner of the house and of course adjacent to a downspout. So I ordered the corner frame. Works great - I weigh 230 lbs and I felt very stable. I don't know how many times I will need it, but I guess I can loan it to the neighbors.

Works well, light weight, but could be improved

The Corner Buddy has worked well for me. It allows me to replace corner trim easily. Despite what others have said it does reach over gutter downspouts that are attached to corner trim.

I appreciate the unit's light weight due to its aluminum construction I just wish the paint didn't peel so easily off the metal. This is just a cosmetic issue though.

I also wish it would attach and remove from the ladder easier. The four wing nut fastened u-bolts are a bit primitive. A spring loaded clamping mechanism like the Werner ladder stabilizer would be slick.
