Dexter Riley (Kurt Russell), a handsome but bumbling Medfield College student, accidentally becomes The
Computer
Who Knew Too Much when he is effortlessly transformed from half-wit to genius in an electriyfing computer mishap. Gamblers, gangsters, and greedy college deans are quick to fight for control of his computer-like brain ... especially when Dexter nonchalantly starts blabbing the syndicate's secrets! A riotous comedy, programmed for hours of laughter and fun!
FUN Movie...Silly, but FUN!
This movie is typical of the live-action Disney fare from the 60s and 70s. Harmless fun based on a silly premise. Kurt Russell was always so fun to watch in his Disney movies. This is the type of movie that was on Sunday nights when I was a kid and afterwards on various local stations and finally on the new Disney Channel before they started original programming and adding other shows of a dubious (but more "hip") nature. If you like silly fun for the whole family, check out this title or any other family movie that features Kurt Russell, Tommy Kirk, Fred MacMurray, Joe Flynn, Ken Berry, Keenan Wynn & Ed Wynn, Hayley Mills, Jim Dale, Dean Jones, Tim Conway, Don Knotts, Robert Morse, Phil Silvers, or Mickey Rooney. You won't be disappointed!!!

another great nostalgia
this movie is from the same triology of the advantures of Dexter Railly
and i loved it very much..all the three of them...
Great Fun!!
The movie is really funny, and even though the story is highly improbable, it is enjoyable.
I happen to think this is a fine film
I don't know why DJ Honeybear is getting all pushed out of shape. I happen to think this DVD is fine. If he doesn't want to pay some cash for the DVD, don't buy it. But don't insist the VHS tape is better, just because it came out first. That's not the fault of the DVD player, or the DVD.
Sounds like Mr. Honeybear needs to slow down on the ho-ho's and ding dong's and try to remember the enjoyment he once had with these classic Disney movies.

Not as much fun as Flubber
We've been watching a lot of these old Disney live-action movies for family movie night, and we LOVED "Flubber" and "Son of Flubber," but this one was a bit too advanced for my 8YO son, and a bit too dull for the adults. Still, it was fun to see Kurt Russell at an early age.
