This magazine is edited for the horseman who savors the western lifestyle and is seeking to improve his/her skills and style in the show ring. Show ring performers provide detailed instructions on riding and training and feature articles highlight the latest in fashion and accessories. Additionally, there is photo coverage of winning horses, tours of leading horse farms, and consumer advice on a range of equine products.

Great Western Magazine!

This is an awesome horse magazine. It's especially helpful for training. I gave it five stars because I think it's great... but It's best for those 1, really into showing, 2, really into Quarter Horses and Paints, and 3, those really into Western. They did have a very helpful and good 'Western Dressage' series by Lynn Palm. It also can be really into showing. So, if you prefer a little English/Western and prefer to just casually trail ride with your Tennessee Walker, this may not be the magazine for you.

Horse and Rider magazine

In my opinion, the best horse magazine on the market. I am thankful that I can buy it from Amazon, as it is cheaper that way. The magazine has the best articles on training horses from some of the top trainers in the country.

Good Horsey Information!

This magazine has good articles and diverse interesting topics. Also good advertising and classifieds in the back for gifts and other great horse items.

Real Horse Info

If you are looking for a Horse magazine full of articles and not ads this is the one for you. We have been getting H&R for 2 years and will keep getting it.The articles are good for western show,western pleasure, and good sound training tips; for anyone that wants to enjoy their horse with out a fight.
