Solid performer for more than a year now

I have owned a Linksys Etherfast 3124 for more than 1 year and have had to reset it once. I use this switch in a test lab environment in my home and it gets as much traffic pumped through it as my Ciscos do at work. It has never failed to perform to my standards.

As for the power issues, my switch is not connected to a UPS but always resets properly after a power hit.

Good switch

Installed the switch with no problems. Very light, no noise, and easy installation. It also sped up my clients network. No broken ports.

Solid Switch for the $$$

This workhorse will perform well in the growing small office. The expandability is at the right price point. BTW - this unit performs well as advertised by linksys.

Power problems? then make sure thay you use a good managed UPS for all your network infrastructure. I always design these in so that critical path network links are always up and running.
