More is more sometimes, at least in the world of small appliances. KitchenAid has introduced a new member of the stand mixer family, known as the Artisan mixer. It has a tilting head, like the KSM90, but it has a larger 5 qt. capacity bowl. It also gives you more oomph, as in 325 watts of cookie dough busting power. What's not to love? If you've been considering a stand mixer, this may be the perfect "starter model" for you.

Kitchen Aid Mixer is Fantastic!

I bought this mixer for myself about five years ago. It was so great that I gave one to each of my two daughters as bridal shower gifts, and plan to give one to my third daughter next summer when she gets married. We use them often and they've never let us down.

KitchenAid 5 Quart Mixer

I've used my mixer a couple of times since I purchased it last month. I LOVE IT. I've been putting off purchasing the mixer because I've always thought it was too expensive. I've checked around and this is the cheapest I've found. It works like a dream. I've used it to make cookies and to mix the Masa for tamales. It cut my work in half. I should've purchased it a long time ago.

it's an attractive appliance. My wife has only used it once or twice in the last 10 months, but seems to enjoy it. Hard to say how durable because we've hardly used it, but that's because my wife doesn't do much baking.

why did I wait so long

I love my KitchenAid Artisan. For years I was using a hand held mixer, this mixer makes whatever you are doing a lot earier. The price is one of the best around. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.
