Bruce Lee was an enigmatic, legendary figure at the time of his death in 1973. His popularity has never waned and this 2001 documentary on the black belt movie star attempts to explain some of his magnetic appeal. Included in this biographical film is footage of The Game of Death, the film that Lee was involved in at the time of his death. Pieced together by Lee aficionado John Little, the film's finale is a flurry of images of the master in action for over 30 minutes.

The lost Bruce Lee movie!

I'll keep it simple: If you're a fan, this is an absolute must to own. The recovered footage from Game of Death is so complete that I felt I was watching a Bruce Lee movie that I didn't know existed until now. The other parts of the DVD may be old hat for true fans, but the Game of Death footage will blow you away.

Bruce Lee - A Warrior's Journey

I bought this movie as a gift for my husband. He said it was awesome! Except for his ipod, it's the best gift I ever bought him. Considering some of the gifts I've bought, that's high praise.

Amazing Documentary

Besides containing some really interesting points on Bruce Lee's personal philosophies, it also contains a lot of footage from his Game of Death movie. This footage is not only exciting action-wise, but contains the subtle humor that I've come to love in all Bruce Lee movies. The first half of the documentary is about his philosophies and how they came to change throughout his life. This half contains footage from interviews and his earlier movies, which interesting narration. As said earlier, the second half contains his Game of Death footage.

Overall, a great documentary that you can watch over and over. Get this movie!!

Good Documentary!

I own this DVD and I really enjoyed it. If you are a Bruce Lee fan you should buy this DVD.

Don't bother with this.

Fifty bucks? Are these sellers kidding?

Don't get me wrong. Of all the documentaries made about Bruce Lee over the past 30+ years, this one is by far the most essential. Not only is it an insightful look into Lee's life, it also (rather famously) offers rare footage of the scenes HE HIMSELF filmed for Game Of Death. All things considered, this documentary is every bit as essential as his four REAL films.

That said, the reason this DVD went out of print is because it's now obsolete. It can be found in it's entirety on the Enter The Dragon 2-disc SE along with a few other documentaries. Pretty handy.
