The One That Started It All

This is the must have Kirk Franklin CD to add to your gospel collection. Even though it came out over 10 years ago, this is still my favorite CD of his. As much as I am a Kirk Franklin fan, this is the one that I can listen to straight through without using the skip button. If you don't have it, get it. If you already have it, listen and enjoy it again.

This CD is food for the heart...and the head.
I am neither a traditional Christian nor belong to an organized religion
but am a music lover, student, and instructor who has been pulled up by this CD.

and Kirk are the real news...12 years after the fact.
To say that this material has stood the test of a decade would be gross understatement. The arrangements are outstanding, harmonies phat and tight.
Fun as the newer hip hop material is (through which I discovered the earlier work), Kirk is so solidly a proponent of the original idiom... as well as an extension of it.
Wow.The first and last cuts on the CD are the ones that I play over and over.

THIS IS HIS DEBUT ALBUM AND FOR A DEBUT ALBUM HE DID AN AMAZING JOB. I LOVE THIS ENTIRE CD. ALL OF THE SONGS ARE AMAZING AND THIS IS ONE OF HIS BEST CD. YOU ARE GETTING YOUR MONEY'S WORTH SO GO OUT AND BUY IT. IF YOU LOVE KIRK FRANKLIN THEN YOU WILL TURLY LOVE THIS ALBUM.

This album will make you a christian if you are not one. The songs are uplifting and praise filled. Lord knows you'll love it. My whole family does.

Off The Chain

This recording is absolutely off the chain. I keep listening to it over and over again. You can feel God's Spirit moving through each song. I Loved it!
