ONE OF THE BEST FIRM W/O'S YET
This is an awesome workout program. Every single muscle is worked. It's not a traditional
Firm
workout. There is no cardio or jumping around. It is all about strength training. There's a four minute warm-up at the beginning and a three minute cool down at the end. It's a full 39 minutes of all strength training, both upper and lower body. You will need a Fanny lifter or a box. Other then that, dumbbells will be just fine. (They use an optional weight bar) There is a short, 3 minute, very intense abs workout. Since I do my cardio on other equipment, I appreciate that there's no aerobics to contend with. All in all, a great, all around, workout.

Excellent
Another triumph by the
Firm
.You will see and feel the results.Heavy Weight work for the upper and lower body is a excellent body shaper. This is a Firm
cross
trainer to be alternated with
Super
Cardio another great workout. This workout really is Super
Sculpting
.A variety of great and effective exersises to firm and tone the entire body.
You will need a variety of dumbells about 3-20 pounds depending on how strong you are.You will need the firm fannylifter or a 12-14 inch box. Also a barbell and ankle weights are needed. This is a overall great weight workout for the entire body.I love alternated it with Super Cardio.I love all of the Firm`s cross training videos. This is one of the best.

Another good workout from The Firm....
This is one of the tougher
firm
s in my opinion. It is about 50 minutes long, with 4 different instructors leading the upper and lower body segments. The warmup and first 10 minutes are led by Jen Carman, you work the upper body with double arm bent rows, bicep and hammer curls, upright rows, pushups, rear delt raises, french presses etc. A barbell is used in this and all the sections, but dumbells can easily be used if you don't have a barbell or don't like using it. Then Nancy Tucker comes in for 10 minutes of lower body work including plies, glute squeezes, lunges and dips, squats and leg presses. Then the lower body gets a rest and you go back to upper body for 10 more minutes with Dale Brabham. She starts you off with some tough shoulder work including upright rows with military presses followed by front and side delt raises, then you repeat with a second set of uprights/militaries and front/side delt raises. Then you go on to dead lifts (Good Mornings), bent over rows, rear delt raises, tricep dips, pushups, one arm rows and more biceps. Then Carissa Foster comes in with 10 more minutes of lower body work, starting off with dips, then squats, lunges, more squats, and some standing abductor/adductor work. She also leads the short ab section and stretch.
This is a very thorough workout, all the muscle groups are hit multiple times and adequately. The ab section is a bit short which might bother some, but I didn't really mind it as I am usually spent at the end of this workout. Those looking for a challenge will like this one.

Exactly what it says it is.
Just like it's counterpart,
Super
Cardio, this workout is just what it's title says it is--all about upper and lower body strength moves. There is no mix of any cardio work (as in
Firm
Strength); it is straight weight work. Given it's shorter length than other Firm videos, it's a great middle of the week or weekend weight workout. The instructors are clear and the moves easy to follow. Jen starts with warm up, stretch and upper body, moving to Nancy for lower body, then Dale on upper body, finishing with Carissa on lower body. You need dumbbells, a step (or lifter), ankle weights. I did not really need the dowel or stick. The main criticism of this workout; Carissa's section is very boring and not challenging. It is unclear why the Firm could not have come up with something more interesting than the repetitive squats that Carissa's section has, even if they were hover squats or used more weight. This is not to say that Carissa is not a good instructor, but her section could have been more varied.

not bad, has potetial
the
Firm
is loaded with great workouts, the instructors are always friendly and encouraging, although they are not always the best, but the workout is ok and the commitment to feel good is there, it could be better, but not every class at the club is good either, so take what you can get
