The endearing, red-mopped Muppet is back for a romp through spring, offering preschoolers a potpourri of animated and live-action snippets showcasing seasonal favorites: birds, bugs, and bicycles. Elmo, the host of this vintage Sesame Street program, chats gaily while ushering in familiar guests Prairie Dawn, Ernie and Bert, and Grover during three 15-minute "chapters." Tongue-in-cheek spoofs ("The Loon Ranger," "The Dick Van Bike Show") are blended with general zaniness (think Mr. Noodle) to keep youngsters laughing as they learn. Catering to a child's short attention span, the fast-paced medley includes interactive games, sing-alongs, and engaging film of kids and critters. Especially heartwarming is footage of ducklings hatching and helmet-clad children pedaling without training wheels. In an effort to stay timely, Elmo's World charms its computer-savvy audience with references to the World Wide Web and "You've Got Mail," but there's no need: everyone knows Elmo is timeless. --Lynn Gibson

Cool DVD.

My son is a year and nine months and really likes this DVD. It has plenty of stories and the characters are interesting. He was a little disappointed when Elmo is not on the screen but is getting to like the other as well.

Great Elmo

Another entertaining Elmo series- the bug series is pretty cute. It may help alleviate some buggy fears your little one may have.

Cute

This is cute, but these are all segments you see on Sesame Street on PBS, so if you don't mind seeing again, it's cute. We like it, though.

My Grandaughter love elmo. She is enfacuated with this one as all the previous one. I wolud certainly buy it again for a gift.

My daughter won't stop watching ELMO

This is a good DVD. My 18 month old daughter sings and dances to this video. She will sit and watch it long enough for me to empty and refill the dishwasher...that's all I can ask for!
