Ranger Rick is for children ages 7 and up. Each issue is packed with amazing facts, stunning photos and outdoor adventures that help kids sharpen reading skills and develop a deeper appreciation for nature. A Parent's Choice Gold Award recipient in 1999. Published monthly.

Ranger Rick Encourages Reading

As a neighbor, aunt, and grandmother, I give Ranger Rick to a number of kids. It fosters reading, encourages the love of nature, and provides hours of fun. It's not expensive, plus it keeps on giving. The low subscription price is negligible, yet the child gets a "present" every month.

Ranger Rick excellent

Good content and on time delivery of issues. This grandson isn't much of a reader so I really don't know how it would be for a kid who loves to read but the parents are happy with the contents and issues arrive on time every month. Nice gift.

I had my sons subscribe to it when they were young and used it in my classroom when I taught second grade. It is a very good magazine and helps children learn about animals and the environment. I

We have not yet received this magazine. My grandson enjoys this product however, so we expect it to be a hit.
