He is ALIVE

(In respsonse to the first review below).

In today's society, our children are seeing evil and hatred at such a very young age, too young. They are being filled with the media and the evil in this world that is all around them. If they are not taught young, when they are seeing the evils of this world, then what will they grow up to become? Why is it in today's society we want to turn our young children, and even ourselves, away from the truth? Away from Jesus Christ? Taking God out of schools, out of our pledge, why? Freedom? I have freedom in Christ.

Christ is not a mythic figure. He is alive and breathing in every Christian on this Earth. He was sent by our Father, to die for our sins, so that we may spend eternity with Him in heaven. Where will you spend eternity? "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and beleives him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death into life. I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live." John 5:24-25

As a Christian, I do not want to see all of this pain and hurt and death in the world and I do sometimes ask myself why? Why do we have all this hurt around us? I do not know all the answers, but I do know that all things happen for the good of God and that He has a purpose for everything. For example, the AIDS crisis in Africa. Perhaps God has called one of his children to become a doctor to go overseas to work with the AIDS victims, and to share Christ's love through healing the sick. "I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust'." Psalm 91:2

I do not know all the answers, nor will I ever. But what I do know, is that Christ is my Savior and that I want to strive to be like Him every single day.
