The first CD, a collection of B-sides (recorded between March 1999 & October 2001) proves that Muse have much more material under their belt than they're letting on.The second CD (a live concert recorded on October 28/29 2001 at Le Zenith in Paris) is the main selling point of Hullabaloo, being a collection of live performances of various songs including the non-album tracks ?Dead Star? and ?In Your World?. These tracks really show the potential of Matt's voice. Pias. 2005.
Muse fans, well worth it!
I was nervous this DVD wouldn't be compatible with my U.S. DVD player, but it works fantastically. I've heard the concert CD a hundred times, but it's great to see the 2001 Le Zenith show live. There are *several* extra songs compared to the audio CD you get with the

(Unintended with the French audience sing-along en Englais is worth the admission price alone).
It's nice to see Muse's earlier days and this concert is quite a contrast to the Uprising tour. And who wouldn't want to see Matt with his spikey hair or a younger Dom with short hair and a patchwork sweater? (Chris is however timeless.) The sound quality of the concert is great, and they've done a lot of interesting camera work and audience shots. It has a more intimate feel than Wembley/Haarp, but it sounds just as solid. The music trends a little more somber, so I really enjoyed the audience's energy during Feelin' Good, Cave, New Born, Plug In Baby and Bliss.
I can't wait to see the second "extras" DVD next and find out what the "Low Level Course Language" warning means. Those crazy Brits.

Best B-side Album. If You're a Muse Fan Get This!
I own the Hullabaloo yes I do, but beware which Hullabaloo you buy, for there is more than one, there are four -or five.
Well maybe not four or five but certainly more than one. It seems all have two discs but some have a live disc with only one disc being b-sides. I have downloaded all variations of Hullabaloo and the ones with two discs of all b-sides is the more fantastic buy for sure; not that their live stuff isn't any good but quite the contrary. I have been to over 100 concerts in my life seeing hundreds of bands and artists and I concluded a long time ago that Muse was the most pheonomenal, although not my favorite band. If you want to hear their live stuff I recommend getting Haarp with the dvd and you'll SEE what I mean... or just go see them live (hint hint).
The best b-sides on here in my opinion are definitely Recess, Hyperchondriac Music, Gallery, Shrinking Universe and In Your World. It's ashame this wasn't released after Absolution with the amazing b-sides it produced like Fury and the cover of House of the Rising Sun. But this is an awesome b-sides collection nevertheless, however I'm unsure where some of these other songs I have came from as they weren't on this album or any other official release. If you already have the Hullabaloo you should check out the b-sides from their albums Absolution and Blackholes and Revelations.

Even "okay" is good enough
I bought this for my Muse-fanatic wife and watched it with her as soon as it arrived. Though not nearly as good as the live HAARP DVD, it's still fun to watch Hullabaloo to catch a few more Muse tunes performed live. Musically, Muse lives up to their press as a sonically stellar live band. Visually, however, the video gets annoying to watch at times because they appear to live by the motto "let's see how many different camera shots we can squeeze into every song". So you really never get the sense you're actually at the concert the way you do with the HAARP dvd where you get a lot of time to watch the guys do their thing. My other complaint would be that we couldn't get the DVD to play on any of our DVD players and can only watch it on our computer. It must have something to do with the formatting and perhaps I missed the warning somewhere when I was ordering it. Still, it's Muse, and I guess even an "Okay" dvd is good enough with Muse -according to the wife.

Beware of format
I read an earlier review that said they had no problem playing it on there dvd player. When I recieved the muse pack it didn`t play for any of my players only on the computer.just fustrating with the different region codes or so called pal code. But if you have a player you could use it on ,I highly recommend it.
