The first CD, a collection of B-sides (recorded between March 1999 & October 2001) proves that Muse have much more material under their belt than they're letting on.The second CD (a live concert recorded on October 28/29 2001 at Le Zenith in Paris) is the main selling point of
Hullabaloo
, being a collection of live performances of various songs including the non-album tracks ?Dead Star? and ?In Your World?. These tracks really show the potential of Matt's voice. Pias. 2005.
Excellent... but beware!
I love Muse, but this is not an all regions DVD. I contacted the seller and they stated "That is an error on the Amazon site, as this item is available as import only and does not exist in the NTSC format. You will need an all region DVD player or computer with DVD ROM drive to view."
It does NOT work on my PS3 or standard DVD player, but does work on my XBOX 360. Other than that, it's AWESOME!!!

Good for fans
This DVD set is a good addition to any Muse fan's collection. That said, this isn't as well done as the concert on the HAARP set. However, it is interesting to compare the two and see what great leaps Muse has made in terms of fan base, style, presentation, and all-around pinache.
The direction of the concert is good, but not great. It's quick cuts and fast paced "action sequences" try to keep in the spirit of the music, but would probably be better suited to a hardcore metal band like Slipknot. The extreme close-ups are something you will love or hate. How close to Bellamy's nostrils do you want to get? That is up to you as a fan.
One note of caution in buying this dvd here: it is listed as all-region and it is actually Region 9. Therefore, Americans may not be able to watch it on their standard dvd player. It will play in DVD-ROM drives for computers and if you happen to have an all-region dvd player (which are not easily found).

Best B-side Album. If You're a Muse Fan Get This!
I own the
Hullabaloo
yes I do, but beware which Hullabaloo you buy, for there is more than one, there are four -or five.
Well maybe not four or five but certainly more than one. It seems all have two discs but some have a live disc with only one disc being b-sides. I have downloaded all variations of Hullabaloo and the ones with two discs of all b-sides is the more fantastic buy for sure; not that their live stuff isn't any good but quite the contrary. I have been to over 100 concerts in my life seeing hundreds of bands and artists and I concluded a long time ago that Muse was the most pheonomenal, although not my favorite band. If you want to hear their live stuff I recommend getting Haarp with the dvd and you'll SEE what I mean... or just go see them live (hint hint).
The best b-sides on here in my opinion are definitely Recess, Hyperchondriac Music, Gallery, Shrinking Universe and In Your World. It's ashame this wasn't released after Absolution with the amazing b-sides it produced like Fury and the cover of House of the Rising Sun. But this is an awesome b-sides collection nevertheless, however I'm unsure where some of these other songs I have came from as they weren't on this album or any other official release. If you already have the Hullabaloo you should check out the b-sides from their albums Absolution and Blackholes and Revelations.

Not Region-1 (USA) Friendly!
Don't get me wrong, I *love* Muse. But I am frustrated by the listing saying "All Regions". The item description says "All Regions" but I just tried this in my USA-bought Sony PS3 to upscale the signal, but the screen comes up "'PAL' not supported" (!!). Now, on my computer the DVD-disc-1 is playing, with the 'canned' software that came with my Windows-Dell laptop, so that's OK I guess. But not the same as having it run through the PS3 and the sound system+big screen tv, right? Maybe I am the blind one and should have read more of the reviews, but I wished this had been REALLY CLEAR in the item description. Buyer beware, which makes me very sad because I

Half a big deal
A b-sides disc that has its share of winners partnered with the band's assuredly blistering live work ensures an enticing fan-based compilation.
