Awesome for camping!

For years I have used a percolater for camping trips for my coffee. I purchased this coffee pot for my friend because it is stainless steel, insulated and a french press which is what she was looking for for camping. She loved it and I continued to be tortured waiting for my coffee and testing it numerous times to see if it was good etc. Finally my husband said order that french press. So we just came back from a 10 day vacation in the wilderness and every morning within minutes we had fabulous hot coffee that stays hot in the insulated pot. Worth every penny.

I am so happy my glass French press broke!

This is my absolute favorite purchase from Amazon so far. This french press is unbreakable, keeps the coffee hot for well over an hour, is easy to clean and makes an incredibly delicious cup. It is big enough to get about 3 cups of coffee out of it (perfect for my husband and I in the morning). If you love french pressed coffee, this is definitely the way to go!

Works Great

My husband wanted a coffee press so I purchased this one for him for his birthday. There is no need to preheat it, if you put in boiling water it is too hot to drink right away and stays hot for quite awhile. We took it camping and it was the easiest way we have found for him to have real good coffee while roughing it.

Great alternative to glass press!

I ordered this press several months ago for my husband, who is a bona fide coffee snob. We have used a glass (Bodum) press for many years, but when our carafe broke, I started looking for an alternative. We also travel a lot, and this press met my needs for both problems. The thermos keeps the coffee warm for at least an hour, but probably more. The stainless steel outer has been knocked over at least twice, and there's not so much as a scratch on it. It packs well for trips, camping and otherwise. If you like a coffee press, but don't like the breakable glass carafe, or how quickly it loses heat, this is the press for you! And the price is very affordable! Even coffee-snob-husband loves it!
