Delightful Melodies!
What a wonderful purchase this was! It offers charming music to any occasion - especially themed parties. It's a sophisticated addition to my CD collection. Superb!
Delightful music
Like many of others, I bought this CD because it has "Mr. Beveridge's Maggot", the song that I like very much in BBC's Pride and Prejudice miniseries. Although it it not the version used in the P&P, it still provides me lots of pleasure when listening to it. Other songs are also wonderful and make me more interested in
Playford
's music.
Lovely Music
I bought this for one piece of music played during a dance scene in A&E's Pride and Prejudice as well as Emma. The music is lively and soothing at the same time. Worth every penny.

Great Playford album
This album has some of
Playford
's best songs, including my favorite, 'Mr. Beveridge's Maggot'. This dance is used in the 1995 production of Pride and Prejudice, although it is slightly faster on the cd. You will not be disappointed with this album!!
a treat
The sound quality is a treat. The choice of music pieces are delightful and a warm cheerful addition to my sound collection.
