perfect combo for hot climates!

While Bodyglide is popular with runners, that's not its only purpose and I imagine the utility of the sun screen/antichafing combo would depend on your needs. This version was perfect for hiking and general use in the Caribbean. While some of the spots that might generally rub or chafe don't get sun contact, the combo of sunscreen and glide was perfect for spots like the tops of my feet (where sandal straps rub) or my shoulders (for backpack straps). Topping that with the convenience of having only one product to carry for both needs and the fact that it's a great after-sun soother (for when you forget to apply it before going outside!) and this is a great hot climate travel companion. At one point, when not able to find this kind, I did use the regular Bodyglide and found that I also like the consistency of this 2-in-1 stick better.

Bottom line -- each Bodyglide product fits a different niche. This one is perfect for me -- someone who's just using the stick for running purposes may be fine with the regular version.
