This is a perfect pump upgrade to replace your smaller 500; 800 or 1000gph filter pump that come packaged with your 16' or smaller size Intex pool set. Please make sure to purchase the needed hose conversion kit (please check Amazon ASIN# B0013LTXI0). New improved 2008 model, package complete with valves, hoses, filter cartridge & installation manual. Easy installation - Just hook-up hoses and plug-in. Double insulated pump. Air release valve for air trapped inside filter chamber. Sediment flush valve at bottom of filter chamber. UL/CSA listed.

It seems to be working just, at least a heck of a lot better then the other one, that came with the pool. I don't see how they could put such a cheep filter with the pool to begin with. The one I just bought move three times as much water, and seems to working just fine. Now if it would just stop raining I would be all set. It has either rained every day, or cold since I have had the new filter
