Ripped fabric 
I own this particular style in two colors -- brown and black. I love the comfort and I love the style and the look -- but what I didn't love is that by the end of a few months, the flowered fabric on both the black pair and the brown pair had ripped in same place: the area that is over the outside of my foot. One shoe of each pair sustained the rip in the same place. Neither pair had come in contact with anything sharp -- the fabric wasn't cut, it was worn through and then ripped. I'm very disappointed with this design. It looked great and I got lots of compliments on the shoes -- and then the fabric gave way and now they can't be worn at all after owning them for only a few months.
That said, I have three other pairs of Skechers -- different styles -- and no rips in them yet (none of them have fabric on them -- all are suede). I would definitely buy Skechers again for their comfort and ease, but I'd stay away from those that have fabric on them and stick with the suede.
