Predating The Brady Bunch by almost a decade, Yours, Mine, and Ours is a screwball comedy about the ultimate blended family. When the widow Helen North (Lucille Ball) marries the widower Frank Beardsley (Henry Fonda), the two must find a place to house their 18--count 'em, 18!--kids (she had 8, he had 10). Based on a real-life couple, the film details the nuances of everyday life in a house overrun with children. From getting all the kids ready for school to sending off an older son to war, this well-written film is wholesome entertainment that doesn't condescend. One of the Best movies ever!!

I'm usually not impressed by many movies and after seeing the new version of this movie I almost gave this old gem a miss. It's truly one of a kind. Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda are amazing as two harried single parents of 8 and 10 children respectively- but that's nothing to how harried they are about to become when they combine their brood of 18! This movie doesn't feel dated at all, it moves along fast and is full of humor.Perfect for families of all sizes :) I'd reccomend this movie to anyone!

This was bought for my mum and auntie, they are both 45+ and still loved it as much today as they did when they were kids, i watched it with my kids under 10 and they thoughly enjoyed it, great for all ages

Excellent movie

This is my wife's all time favorite movie. She had used the VCR version she had for the past few decades so I finally just bought her this DVD. She loves it on DVD!

Hilarious and one of Lucille Ball's best!

This is one of the best movie's that Lucille Ball made. Based on a true story, it is absolutely hilarious mixed with heart-touching moments. If you like to belly laugh, this will deliver. (BTW, I have not seen the remake of this movie with Dennis Quaid and have absolutely zero desire to do so. In my opinion, it is a crime that they remake movies from superb original productions.) If you have NOT seen the original with Lucille Ball & Henry Fonda, do yourself a favor and rent it. I don't believe you will be disappointed.

This movie is a perfect addition to have in any DVD library because you never tire of watching it. It's also a fun reminder of what life was like back then, looking at the automobiles, clothes styles, and furniture that we had back then. Truly, a wonderful walk down memory lane.
