This is your standard fare Video Calendar, one of the first Playboy DVDs, meaning there are no animated menus nor trailers nor bonus features. Each Playmate only gets about 4-5 minutes of screentime. There aren't many creative angles like the extreme closeups that we've seen in the more recent Video Calendars, and the video quality isn't very sharp in certain scenes, which is normal in the Image releases of Playboy DVDs.
On the plus side, there were a couple of scenes worth mentioning, as the hottest of all Playmates was brunette Jennifer Lavoie in an athletic display of gymnastics before she strips down. I also noticed for the first time Arlene Baxter, who has never appeared in any other Playboy DVD or video, so it was a treat to notice this hottie. On the negative, Jenny McCarthy doesn't get as much screentime as you would expect the Playmate of the Year to get, and she remains clothed about half of the time. Total time Jenny is in the buff: 2 minutes, 30 seconds.
If you're a fan of any of the particular Playmates, this is a recommended DVD. Otherwise, stick to the newer 2000 and 2001 Video Calendars for sharper video quality and 80+ minute lengths.
