The Olsen twins try their best to pull an all-nighter in this high-spirited, 25-minute slumber

episode.

jumpstart the fun by encouraging their three perky guests to learn some new dance moves. Cue the MTV-style musical numbers; these girls just gotta sing! And they have a song for every activity, from playing video games to making pizza (basically ordering a plain pie, then raiding the fridge for a variety of toppings) and scaring each other--and the boys--with spooky stories and makeup. Cute, tame entertainment for 4- to 7-year-olds who enjoy singing and dancing along. While kids 8 and older are much more likely to hold slumber parties, they might find the material too juvenile (sort of like Barney unmasked). --Liane Thomas

Olsen - Our First Video deserves to be added to the list.
Here, in their first video, we see the origin of MK and Ashley. It's incredibly interesting, knowing them as we now do, going back and seeing how they were in the beginning. The singing, the dancing and the merrymaking all add up to an incredibly rewarding watch. Songs like "I Am The Cute One" and "No One Tells The President What To Do" are filled with as much meaning and passion as one could muster at that age. In fact, I'd say they evoked more of the aforementioned passion than many adults could have done.
The director coaxes wonderful performances from the girl. And, his shunning of off-kilter, odd camera angles in favor of straight ahead, stationary ones put more focus on what the Olsen's are doing than he is. The subtle camera work is a welcome part of the video.
This is a wonderful film deserving of you're attention. It's easy to see from what's on film here that these girls would go on to make qualtiy films like New York Minute and The Case of the Fun House Mystery.

This was a fun movie to make...
I was blessed to be a co-star with the twins and this one was a hoot! I played the part of "Monica" and I must say it was fun from beginning to end. The twins were wonderful to work with - check it out!
O.K Not much of a mystery but VERY educatinal. Would reccomend to 3rd-4th grade Science teachers. Tells ALOT about volcanoes!
Its O.K. I just got through renting it from the library and waching it. Wouldnt wach it again. I am VERY glad I didnt BUY it. If I did, i'd give it to Mrs.Luc, my 4th grade science teacher (Im going to be in 5th grade). Dont buy it. Its the worst movie the Olsen twins have EVER done. Trust me, Im a HUGE Olsen fan. Dont think because this movie is not very interesting the other Olsen movies are bad cause theyre THE BEST. I wouldnt want to be one of those idiotic jerks who dont like the Olsen twins. This one's not much of a mystery; more of all about volcanoes.
