Poor rendition of fabulous book

If you like the Mrs. Piggle Wiggle books, don't get the movie. it follows the wonderful books only loosely. The videos are shallow and slapstick. Filled with cheap puns appropriate mostly for adults. The set looks like a take off of Blues Clues and dialog make Barney looks sophisticated. My kids like it okay, but my husband and I could barely sit through it.

Wait for the book on tape.
