Very clearly written with excellent photos! Super cute!
My kids in my classroom loved this book. Other children I showed
Peeking

to, loved it as well. This book is full of carefully worded information on prarie dogs with warm and fuzzy photos to keep any childs interest. I'm completely delighted with this book and highly recomend it to any teacher or parent!
Good photography.
I am a 30 year old man and I also enjoyed this book, in particular the pictures.
I can only give it 4 stars - for minor inaccuracies. The text implies that the photo depicts a young pup nursing.
Prairie
dogs
seldom nurse above ground and it is quite clear that the pup is merely playing with the adult's leg.
I was tempted to subtract another point for the text. Although it is written for a child, and there are probably not more than 200 words in the book, a couple of the passages are rather awkward.
