Best cookie cookbook I've ever found.

If you are considering Mrs. Field's Cookie Book, you won't be disappointed. I've used the recipes from this cookie cook book for at least 10 years, now, and everyone who has ever tried one of my cookies says that they are absolutely wonderful!
In a previous review, the reviewer stated that Mrs. Fields recommends baking times that are too long. This isn't true. She uses lower oven temps in her recipes, and this calls for longer baking times. (The lower temperatures keep the cookies from burning easily.) Just wanted to pass this info on. Have fun baking cookies! :)

A Really Great Cookie Cookbook!

My mom bought this cookbook when it was first published. I'm a beginner at baking and have been doing lots of cookies lately, and this book has helped me learn lots of great recipes!. There are pictures on most of the recipes, and they are easy to follow, so even kids can help! . All the ingredients in the recipes are easy to find. Plus, Mrs. Fields includes other desserts such as Macadamia Nut Brittle (very good if you're careful not to burn it!), brownies and cheesecakes along with other surprises. A necessity for any baker!

This is a MUST have for moms.

The Best Cookie Book We Own

I read the other reviews and was truly surprised that anyone would be disappointed with this book. I guess everyone has their own individual taste in cookies, but these are by far the best cookie recipes we've ever tasted. We have a cake dome in our kitchen which always contains a dessert of some kind, usually Mrs. Field's, and our guests always look forward to sampling these delicious concoctions. It doesn't matter that they don't taste like the cookies at the mall -- they're excellent just as they are!

If you love baking cookies, you'll love this book. It's one of our favorites for making delicious cookies. My daughter used it so much that for Christmas I bought her her own copy. She was ecstatic and said it was the best gift I could have given her. She had just told her roommate that they needed Mrs. Fields Cookie Book...it had the best cookie recipes!
