I order one book and recieve SEVEN(7) of the same book!

I specifically ordered one of the above books... over the next 2 weeks I received a total of SEVEN (7) of the exact same book. I returned four (4) of them and used the remaining two (2) extra for Christmas presents.
Your associate on the phone was an idiot and told me that I clicked on the wrong button, but could not explain why any sane person would order the same exact book via seven different orders - all on seperate days!!

I expect credit for the 4 books I returned and a detailed explanation of the above button I allegedly clicked on.

Fantastic soups

This is my second copy of the book. I needed a copy ofr our other home. I have made many of the soups,and the champagne yeast bread is out of this world.Some of the recipes require time and effort, but they are worth it!!!

This was my first Crescent Dragonwagon

And it was just the beginning. I have loved all her books. They offer wonderful recipes, stories, and don't need all the photos. Her works are wholistic in that her writing is a comfort to the spirit and soul while the foods feed the body.

Worth the Read

This is my favorite cookbook. I was running a bed & breakfast when I recieved it as a gift from my daughter, who knows I alwsays serve soup as a first course when I entertain for dinner. Cresent Dragonwagon's introduction to her book is worth the price alone. Her personal notes on the recipes are invaluable. The 5-page explanation and recipe for "Gumbo Zeb" made me want to try it and we now look forward to it every winter. My husband's second favorite result of owning the book is "Gazpacho Rosa." Made with beets, cranberry juice and yogurt, it's an amazing pink, chilled soup that is always a hit at dinner parties where we've been known to encourage the guests to guess the ingredients. I purchased this copy as a gift for a friend who has asked for some of my recipes since she and her husband also eat a lot of soup. This seemed to be the most efficient way of offering her a collection of my favorites.

Too many ingredients

Although many of these recipes look good, I am put off by the LONG lists of ingredients, especially on the soups. I will try some of the recipes, but with my own editing of ingredients. Will admit I have not tried anything yet...
