Kick it up a notch
The thing I love about this book is that there are many classic recipes such as green bean casserole and lemon squares that are just so much better than the old recipes. This book is also good for company and large families(of which I am a representative). There are no bland recipes here. They are all to die for.If I had to choose one of my many cookbooks to rescue from a fire, this would definitely be it.
This is his best cookbook.
I own several
Emeril
cookbooks and most of them are so complicated they are not reproducible at home. This is not the case with
Potluck
. I have made several recipes from this book and they turned out great and got rave reviews. The Spinach Enchiladas were declared restaurant quality by my brother-in-law. I also made the Spanish Rice and it was awesome. I have made the homemade ranch potato salad and it was a huge hit. The Ambrosia turned out good...I don't have my book in front of me so I can't remember all the recipes off the top of my head.
You will love this cookbook.

Fabulous cookbook!!
This is one of my all time favorite cookbooks, I am an avid cookbook collector and I don't make too many recipes more than once. This book is wonderful, I use it over and over again ( I have a large family). I make everything ahead of time, and get the most compliments from these recipes...the macaroni and four cheeses, spinach and artichole dip and the brisket are some of my favorites. I cannot say enought about this wonderful book!!!
Enjoy cooking meals people will love!
If you like cooking great tasting

I have been to three parties and have taken two casseroles and the Shrimp Etouffee and they all knocked the taste buds off of the guests. Tasty, Hearty, Simple, good looking food that does not lack the wow factor.
[...]. Cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, pepper and some others it's very easy.
As for the large portions that the recipes make...the recipes are so simple just half the recipe if you want to cook a small meal.
I highly recommend this book for all.
