Now, with a band of killers on the loose, and vengeance to be had, the Trailsman has lost his memory-maybe for good.Action packed Rescuing a damsel in distress is nothing new for Skye Fargo, but Amy Fenton is no average damsel. She's beautiful, bright and has just inherited several lucrative businesses from her father. Amy hires Fargo to protect her but it isn't long before Fargo finds himself up against odds he can't beat, and a bullet to the skull causes the Trailsman to loose his memory... A book made up of very short chapters, a book that moves at speed. Jon Sharpe keeps the questions coming, adding mystery to the action packed tale. His portrayal of Fargo is pretty good although he does have Skye coming off worse in fights more often than followers of the series would expect. The who, and what's going on, is kept a secret until the end, although part of it is easy to work out as some of the chapters follow the actions of characters other than Fargo, but this doesn't harm the story in anyway. Easy to read and enjoyable.
