highly recommended
A lush treasury of 19
fairy
tales
that generations of children have grown up on, lushly illustrated by Diane Goode.
Love, Love, Love this book!
Every child should have this
book
. All three of my children love this book. They take turns picking the story we read and then we discuss it ( how it differs from the "movie" version, etc). Absolutely wonderful. Our favorite book for our children.
A perfect collection of Fairy Tales
This
book
is absolutely wonderful. My childen love it and it is exactly what is being taught in the schools.
pretty good
It's got a great collection of
fairy
tales
. They might be different from the watered down versions from child hood but most aren't that graphic. I liked it.

good stories but pictures can be a little scary
This is a great collection of stories, but when I was a little girl I was very scared of some of the drawings of the villians. So, the illustrations are excellent but a very young child might find them a little...intense. Nevertheless, I still liked the
book
and read it often.
