I wish I had these college guidebooks available when I was a prospective college student. Not only do they give an insider's view to the college of your choice, but they do so through a current student's viewpoint on specific topics that the school may or may not have extensive information on. I found this guidebook to be the new essential tool for prospective college students everywhere in getting a feel for the actual environment and students at each school in particular. The fact that the company is run by recent graduates rather than adults who went to college years ago is also highly impressive and significant in that they still have fresh ideas on what college life is like, and what information they wish they had known before entering their college years. The guides are personal, thorough, informative, and fun to read.

This book is SO helpful!

The phrase "Off the Record" says something really important about this book: it is information you won't find on the college website or at an information session on campus. You ESPECIALLY won't find this info in an unnamed national report that includes details on just about every school out there. This is an intimate look into the school and an excellent read as well. Any high school student considering Whitman should absolutely buy this book or ask for it as a gift. Hey, maybe even current students would get a kick out of it! All in all I found it extremely helpful in my college search.
