Everyone has been repeatedly asking us for a book on primary care, and so we are pleased to now release the Tarascon Primary Care Pocketbook. This altogether-new pocket guide is packed with essential lists, figures, and tables concisely covering the full spectrum of ambulatory medicine, sporting instant reminders of hard-to-remember yet vitally important clinical facts. While it has been designed for the busy family physician, internist, or other primary care provider, it is also the perfect succinct resource for specialists who ? of necessity ? are periodically required to dabble in more-general practice issues. Additionally, it is the ideal guide for trainees on ambulatory rotations. The Tarascon Primary Care Pocketbook is meticulously referenced and has been peer-reviewed by an expert multi-disciplinary editorial board.

Best Pocketbook

It's a comprehensive pocket book, very well done. Each disease is presented on one page with clinical features, work-up and management. The therapy is up to date with doses for each drug.

Easy to read.
Bravo Tarascon!

An essential for every physician

This book does in 200 compact pages what most medical textbooks attempt to accomplish in 800 pages. It covers virtually every primary care topic faced in an outpatient setting and I can carry it in my shirt pocket. I love it!

Great book

Spectacular and comprehensive collection of information about virtually every primary care topic. Filled with clinical pearls and absent of extraneous information

Ignore the 1st Seven Reviews...

They are all dated January 21, 2004 and I highly doubt they are real, honest reviews. I'm not sure the other two reviews are real either. This is one Tarascon edition I'd rather see before buying (unlike their Pharmacopia).
