Emotionally Satisfactory

HumanityThis book deals with the human emotions and states why they were paramount to our evolvement. It dedicates a chapter to each of ten categories; fear, anger, disgust, sadness, jealousy, contempt, shame, embarrassment, surprise and happiness. It's easy reading and a great place to start if you are interested in this genre. I loved the introduction and then found myself reading the entire book at a steady and comfortable pace.
There's plenty of interesting references in a book that I found to be original in style........'An Emotional History' ....If asked to categorise this offering, I would have to say Psychology/History/Philosophy all under the 'evolutionary' banner. A worthy read.
