Best USMLE Step 2 CS book
I used several books for
USMLE
Step
2 CS preparation and this is by far the best book. I can highly recommend it - not only because I passed the exam thanks to it but also because it is easy and fun to read. This is a unique and excellent preparation book for the USMLE step 2 CS examination. Especially
help
ful for IMG, however also recommended for american graduates. It is very easy to read and covers everything from initial "plan of attack" for the preparation to valuables advises for the examinee during the exam.
Worth its weight in gold!
I needed this book and 2 weeks of following their instructions to pass this exam. I am an AMG, got this book, did what they said, and Voila! I passed. If you really do what they say, I have no doubt you will pass too. I am externing now, and I have gone back to this book, because I see that physical examinations are really done like that!!!! It's a good refresher, even now. Excellent book, well worth the price.
My wife is an IMG, and she used this book too. I think she benefited even more from it because she learned what to do, what to say (She also did
USMLE
Help
online sound courses which helped her tremendously), and how to say it. They talk about the exam in the first 60 or so pages, and then it's COMPLETE physical exam encounters the rest of the way.
It's definitely worth the price, and I would suggest this book to anyone who is taking this exam - if you're an AMG or an IMG.
I have also bought their CCS and CK books. Hey, I'm a fan, what can I say? But they are all written for the student in mind, and they are all really good. Between me and my wife, we had just about bought every book that's out there for the exams, and this is really the best of the bunch.
