In New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon's thrilling novel of romantic suspense, a gutsy female agent from the Bureau of American Defense encounters an elusive killer who isn't at all what he seems.

After losing her mother to a vigilante killer, Terri Mitchell has dedicated her life to justice. Working covertly as a new agent for the Bureau of American Defense agency, she's consulting with the New Orleans Police Department to bust an organized crime ring suspected of funding terrorism. But when rumors surface of a phantom ghost terrorizing and killing the very people she's investigating, she's suspicious.

Nathan Drake has spent his life protecting his family, the only thing that matters to him...until the most feared drug lord in the southeast takes everything Nathan holds dear. Now he's a man on a mission with nothing to lose. He figures he only needs to stay alive long enough to protect the innocent lives the killers are out to destroy.

As the two of them seek a similar goal by different means, Terri and Nathan are drawn deep into an evil underbelly that cuts through all levels of society. Now two people who have no reason to trust must trust in each other or die. And if they die, a deadly attack will be unleashed on thousands of innocent people.

Phantom in the Night

Terri Mitchell used to be a DEA agent, but things went sour and now she works for BAD-the Bureau of American Defense agency. Terri consults with the New Orleans Police Department and while investigating the case of a young man killed while under suspicion of working for drug lord Anton Marseaux, she meets Nathan Drake. Once military, Nathan Drake is trying to avenge his brother¢s death. Terri and Nathan may be playing for different sides, but they have the same goal-to catch the bad guys. Terri wants to trust Nathan but her misplaced trust in the past got her partner killed and herself injured. Nathan¢s vengeance may cost him everything. BAD and the NOPD suspect more is at stake than drug smuggling. A threat of biological warfare has everyone up in arms. Even if they can stop these madmen Nathan is wanted man, his future is bleak at best. Terri never found a man worth fighting for until Nathan, and she¢s not giving him up without a fight.

Phantom In The Night is an expertly written story where the tension and suspense are kept high while the romance sizzles on every page. Terri is a beauty with brains and spunk. Nathan¢s mysterious persona is extremely sexy. Once he reveals himself that sexiness only intensifies. Phantom In The Night is packed with emotion. Nathan¢s desire to mete out justice is tangible, as is his desire for Terri. Terri¢s cautiousness is understandable. They make a great team, both in and out of bed. Unscrupulous villains, sexual tension, and one thrilling scene after another, fill the pages of Phantom In The Night. It¢s gripping, sensual and the shocking twists at the end kept me on the edge of my seat. Phantom In The Night is a fantastic novel by two very talented authors.

a bit different

I know this is a BAD book but it did not really jave much to do with the organization.
I loved how the suspense of the story went and all the twists in the end. I did not like that Josie did not get hers, she was so awful.
The bad guys made me really scared because they seem so real, then again that is one of the reasons the BAD books are so amazing. They have the hint of this could happen or they feel like they are stories that were based on real events.
It is scary good

WOW!

Yet another winner in the B.A.D. series. Sexy, exciting, and a great read. Sherrilyn Kenyon never disappoints!

The girls from BAD are bad!

It is nice that MS Kenyon highlighted one of the girls from BAD. But I have a bit of a problem with how whimpy she is. Come on folks she works for BAD lets give her a bit of balls. Her I Q really isn't that great either. Street smarts where did they go?
What happened to all the smart remarks that the bad boys & girls are known for?
Now TI is a woman from BAD in all the ways that count. She really really needs to get together with MR Public.
