The first ?Stop catalogue, designed by Stefan Sagmeister, is an image catalogue unlike any other. Formidable in both appearance and thickness, this small, chunky, 480-page volume displays complete ?Stop collections luxuriously. There is no getting lost in a sea of thumbnails here: just elegant spread after elegant spread. More a photography book than a stock catalogue, this one will end up on your coffee table.

great little book

This little book that samples images and (mostly) photographs of 13 different designers (including Peter Baker, David Carson, Alexander Branczyk, Jake Tilson, April Greiman, Thomas Morecki, Kevin Zacher, Riah Hughes, Melanie Lenz, Markus Wustmann, Markus Hanzer, and Max Zerrahn).

The design of the book is trademark Sagmeister - the edges of the pages complete the cover and spine images, giving the book a 3-d effect when closed. As you flip through the pages, the photographers name "animate" through their sections, making this a fun book whether you look through it quickly or closely.

Interesting photo collections, but probably not enough if you are looking for indepth info on each artist's photographs.

Each time I flip through the book, somthing new catches my eye - and it's inexpensive enough that you won't feel you've wasted your money.

small

I was not expecting it to be so tiny, although it is still beautifully designed.
