A " make you sweat, energy, intensed workout"!

Ok guys, this is it. I have been doing Tae Bo for 6 months now. I first started out with the Instructional and Basic then moved to the next level, the Advanced one. Let me tell you all, this workout is a strong, tough workout for the full 57 minutes you are watching. This workout strengthens muscles, tones your target area, abs, hips, thigh, and of course, the stomach are. You are learning correct posture and endurance, balance and coordination as well. There are some complaints that the moves are not taught, let me tell you, most of the moves are instructed in the Basic and Instructional tape. That is why it tells you DO NOT attempt this Advanced tape w/o watching or reveiwing the first tapes. I read that one viewer said she skipped the Instructional and the Basic tape and hopped to the advanced b/c the first tapes were to "easy", true, but that is where you learn your moves. That is how injuries occur and why some of you feel like the moves are not taught at all and you jab the wrong way or kick with a too extended knee and twist your ankles..etc.... Now, for the moves that are not in the first tapes, he DOES explain/demonstrate them to you b4 he tells you to do it. So, if you have not done the first required tapes, then do not attempt the Advanced one b/c injuries will result and confusion to the steps will occur. If you watch the tapes first and do them before avdancing to the Advanced, you will have no problems at all and have a good worth your money workout. One that truly rules. Intense

Just an advice

Really great workout! The ad in TV says that I was going to sweat like never before and I did. Two weeks working out with Tae-bo and I feel Stronger, faster, really in good shape. I have to say that Tae-bo is workout oriented and that means that have no much information on the moves. I had a long backgroud doing Taekwon-do and I knew the moves but if you are new in martial arts, please be sure to practice the instructional a lot before you get in the basic or advanced. If you start doing basic or advanced in the wrong way you could harm your self seriously. enjoy your workout

What a workout !

It might take you awhile to work up to the advanced video - but once you get there you won't want to stop. You have to do this video in steps but once you are able to complete the whole thing you will get one of the best workouts ever released on video. You'll sweat, burn and yes sometimes even let out a yell ! But you will know that you made good use of your workout time and you will feel stronger and more fit. Billy Blanks is great !


Pleased with the results

I keep reading how Billy Blank's production of these videosaren't high quality.

This video has helped me a 5"0' loseweight. I was 15 lbs. over my ideal weight. I was bored with the repetition of walking on the treadmill going no where. I was tired of the stair master. I purchased TaeBo Advanced and it brought excitement back into exercise. Remember you don't have to do the moves as fast as they do. Billy Blanks reminds you to work at your own pace. He is very encouraging through out the whole video, this helps me go on until the end of the workout. TAEBO IS NOT OVER RATED! It is fun, exciting, and keeps you wanting to exercise.

You can feel that Billy Blanks loves and cares for each and one that is doing the workout. When he speaks into the camera, he is speaking to you.

Tae Bo Live! Sneak Preview

I felt ripped off. Not really a full workout. It's 20 minutes long, with clips from several different videos and a running commercial across the bottom of the screen for those videos. I use it as a warm up before lifting weights. But it's not enough on its own.
