In my opinion, Logitech's
Cordless
Action
Controller
surpasses the Sony Dual-Shock controller in confort, quality, and style. This controller feels really comfortable to hold, and it has an attractive design. The material is smooth but provides a good grip. In the past I would never use or recommend anything but the Dual-Shock, but this one is now the clear winner.
Getting the controller to work is really simple. You just need 2 AA batteries in the controller. Insert the very small receiver into the PS2. Turn on the PS2, then tap one of the buttons on the controller. They will pair in a second or two.
I wish there was a way to make it work for my Xbox 360.

Great controller, using it on PS1
I wanted to let the kids be able to play the PS1 on our 64-inch TV, but the cabled
controller
s put them too close to it... I saw a PS3 at a friends house, and the wireless controllers made so much sense... got this one, listed for a PS2, but it works great on the PS1...
only drawback, the memory card slot gets blocked by the plug for this controller... so you have to either only use one controller and plug the card above the other slot, or plug the other wireless controller in after you use your memory card.

greate controller
It is a bit heavy due to the batteries. Great reception. The
controller
sleeps after a while. Very comfortable. Worth the price!
A year later and still going strong!
I bought this
controller
a little over a year ago on the recommendation of a Gamestop store clerk. A year later I'm still quite happy with this baby. It's the only PS2 controller I've used that actually fits my hands comfortably. And it seems to reduce sweaty-palm syndrome in high-intensity gaming. The wireless range is great as well. My PS2 runs within six feet of my wireless router of the same strength, and I've never experienced signal drop or button lag. It's quite the sturdy little beast. I've dropped it SEVERAL times and it has yet to show even the slightest bit of wear. Even the battery cover's still in tact! (Big thing for me. I don't own a battery powered device besides the Wiimote that I can say the same for.)
Now, I, too, have experienced the sticky button problem. I don't really see it so much as faulty design. The crevices around the face buttons just get filled with sweat from time to time. The problem is easily remedied using a cotton swab, a bottle of rubbing alcohol and 5-15 minutes. I also really think this thing could've really benefited from an on/off switch. But in a year these are the only problems I've experienced.
I would give this five stars, but the fact that it's the ONLY controller that I've ever had get sticky buttons (which admittedly shouldn't be occurring) drops it a star. Still, it's a great product and well worth the price!
