Nemesis Opens Ones Eyes to the Real Reasons for 9/11

Chalmers Johnson's research for his books is exhaustive and skillfully drafted to give one insights into the sources of American unpopularity around the world. I have read them all and thoroughly enjoyed his brilliant analalysis of the imperial presidency and the mistakes in foreign policy we are now paying so painfully to learn.

A Must Read

An awesome and depressing subject presented in meaningaful and positive manner. Just as an individual asks "Who am I?" a country should ask "Who are we? I have not found any book that has helped me more in my search fot an answer to the last question.

A Must Read!

Professor Johnson has a way of making things absolutely clear. This book is no exception. It is the third volume of the Blowback Trilogy and is a must read for anyone wanting to understand where the US is in the world, how we got there, and where we might be going. Chalmers Johnson writes from a lifetime of experience as both a Naval officer and a professor. In fact, the way he explained the economic theories was so open and obvious that I wondered why I hadn't understood them before. If you don't read any other books on the current foreign policy problems we have now, read these three blowback books. Nemesis is a must read and a fitting conclusion. I hope the next president reads it, in fact I pray the next president reads it!

worth reading

Great book. I plan to read his other two books, Sorrows and Blowback.

What would the Founding Fathers think of the US having 737 military bases
around the world?
