Hooway for Lester and Munsinger!

They've done it again! The team who brought us such memorable books as A Porcupine Named Fluffy and Tacky the Penguin are at their absolute best with Hooway for Wodney Wat. Funny text and hysterical illustrations combine to make the perfect read aloud book. I laughed so hard I cried. A must have!

Wodney won my heart!

Wodney wat wins more than the upper-hand in this sweet book. I am a sixth grade teacher who first heard Wodney's tale at a Children's Book Conference. I purchased it for my eighteen month old and he LOVES the rhythmic style of the author. I read it on a whim to my "Big" sixth graders and they loved it too! Fun for all ages, an underdog that even pre-teens can identify with- Wodney wins!

A must have for SLPs

I am a school based speech-language pathologist. I have numerous children on my caseload who are working on producing their "r" sound. I have read this book to many of these children and they love it! Aside from my occupational affiliation to this story--it is just an all around cute, funny book.

Wodney Wat is delightful.

This book is an absolute pleasure to read. Wodney Wat's story is hilarious and brought me to tears.

Wonderful! Delightful! Marvelous! Well, you get the idea--there aren't enough adjectives to do this book justice. The author of many wonderful titles, Lester has hit a grand-slam this time. It is sheer delight to read outloud. Buy it for every child you know, and buy one for yourself while you're at it.
