Dont Look NOW

This book scared the hell out of me. It is another win for Sandford. Eyes of Prey will hook from the first page. It was a complete joy to read becuase it was a surpise with each tunn of the page. I have read all the Prey books and if you haven't you are missing one of the best characters in Lucas Davenport. Sandford know how to create a character that make you want to read more about him.

READ THE FIRST PAGE AND THEN HOLD ON!!!!!!

Scary as all get out. I almost know this book will scare your pants off. I have read several of Sandford's Prey books and this is one of the best. As usual, Lucus Davenport is the hard nosed cop. Murders start happening but they don't appear to be done by the same person even though they are alike. Lucus appears to have met his match in Dr. Bekker. There are many twist and turns before it ends. The last page is quite a surprise to me. If you live by yourself and are in an older house, where the floors squeek, I would not read this at night. A must read if you like scary stories.

Continued stress and sleepless nights thanks to John Sandfor

Once again I found myself sitting up late to ,not read, but re-read a Sandford book. This series of books makes you get up and check that the doors are locked before you fall off to sleep. After reading this book I was thankful that I live in New Jersey and not out in Minn. where Lucas Davenport is! The author is able to flesh out the characters and make them seem real. Unlike many of todays story tellers ,where the hero is a superman that has no flaws and is not realy human, Sandford gives us a man who we know. I do not wish to give away any of the story line but suffice to say that this is a book that you will finish in one sitting. Sandford seems capable of keeping your attention and not letting it go till Lucas davenport has finished his work. I would recomend this book to anyone but you should read his earlier books so you can have a correct timeline.

Very Good Murder Mystery

I have to praise the author, Mr. Sandford keeps these books very interesting. Lucas D. always a force on the force. This one has some of his personal stuff revealed. Ever the ladies man, Lucas comes through as the guy most men want to be like. Although the baggage along with that is revealed in this one. The Villan, Dr. Bekker, an abuser of all drugs(so it seems), is an almost worthy opponent. Lt. Lucas Davenport has a strong supporting cast. The story kept me going. The end seems to lead directly to the next book of the series. I look forward to the next book of the series.

Not the series' best book, but...

...still well worth getting. Bekker's not my favourite (if you could use such a word for such an evil character) villan in the Prey books.

I love this series, Davenport's a great character and the fact that it's a series of books really draws you into the characters as the series unfolds. Don't get this if you haven't read the first two books, I think you really miss out by not getting the character development. (I read this one first and regret it now.)
