Great Book, Great Series, My New Favorite Author!!

I love these books. Recently read my first Prey book and am hooked!! This is the best one so far in a really great series, so that is saying something! Try to read them in order if you are just starting out on Mr. Sandford series. I love Lucas Davenport... Thanks Mr. Sandford, (aka John Camp) keep up the good work!!

Best of the prey series

I have read this book twice and was just as interested the second time around.Lucas is one of the best detectives I have read.I get caught up in the stories and most of all the life of Lucas.I feel like I know him and am waiting for another book to see if he goes ahead with the wedding with Weather.Or what will happen with the two of them.I just saw the movie and am wondering how they can change Lucas so much.The story did follow the book pretty close but aI didn't like that Weather left him.That didn't happen in the book.I like Sanfords villians because they are the best of the worst.You never know what will happen because they have no consience.I have read all nine booksk,or at least all of them up to sudden prey.I hope sdanford keeps up the good work because I can't imagine not following Lucas.I want to see him and Weather have a life.

Lucas's best Prey

I have read the whole prey series and I belive this is my favorite. Sandfords usual fast pased, short and sweet writting style is at it's best here. The villian is at his worst. The element of mother and child ads more terror to an already terrifying situation. the final scenes are the most satisfying of the prey climaxes. Just finished "Secret Prey" another must read for prey fans I'm always sad when I finish a prey book but I can't stop reading. ....................keep em coming John!

Mind Blowing

John Sandford wrote an outstanding thriller. This book was the best cat and mouse book that I have ever read. Of the novels that are being made major motion pictures, Mind Prey should be a definite. With either Jason Patric or Matt Dillion Portraying Lucas Davenport.

Great "Cat & Mouse" type book.

I've had this book sitting on the shelf for some time, and just found the time to read it. If I had known how good it was I would have made time sooner! This book will hold you from the first paragraph to the last. If you are a James Patterson fan give this book a try.
