GREAT BOOK SET

My 7 year old loves these books, he borrows them from the teacher, or the library, He even wanted the books on his Christmas list instead of Toys! He doesn't read them in order, he read book #1 and went to #31 and jumps around. I didn't know why he liked these books, they weren't like anything he read before. I picked one up to read it and found myself hooked. Now I have an excuse to read to him and my 4 year old at the same time.

MY BOY LOVES READING

My 1st grader hates to put them down, he would rather read Magic Tree House books, than play video games. He even reads them to his class and explains the story for show and tell. When he was in kindergarten, the teacher would also let him read the Magic Tree House books out loud, not given her a break, but to promote reading out loud. Great books!

Wonderful for the grandchildren!!

I read the first of the series to my 4-year old grandson and his father has read the others in the first set to him... The little boy just loves them, and the fact that he seldom interrupts, and when he does it is to go back to previous pages, attests to this fact! I wish I had these to read to his father 40 years ago!

My daughter loves these

My daughter is in 2d grade this year and came home telling me all about these books. As is typical, I had no idea what she was talking about. After talking to her teacher, I put it all together. She has thrown her Judy Moody and Junie B Jones books on the shelf in favor of these and she can't seem to get enough.

I'd recommend it

I got this book set to read to my 6 year old son before going to bed because I thought he might be ready to move from just pisture books. They do keep his attention and the plots are very easy to follow especially since we spread the book to last about 3 nights. I also believe the text is no to difficult for when he is ready to read for himself.
