WILD SEQUEL THAT WILL LEAVE YOU CRAVING MORE
Eclipse
, by Stephenie Meyer is the third novel in this series. The heart of the first
book
beats with Edward and Bella's love story. Bella Swan, a high school senior falls in love with Edward Cullen. Edward and his family are all vampires. The Cullens have succeeded for years in controlling their instincts to kill and feed on humans; they have instead acquired a taste for animal wild life even if they still crave and hunger for human blood. Edward and Bella learn how to love each other as the lion and the lamb, but not without creating some havoc and enemies in the vampire world. In the second book, Edward rips himself away from Bella, thinking it is best and safest for her to live without him. In his absence, Bella finds comfort, protection and solace with her childhood companion and recent best friend, Jake Black. Jake Black, who happens to be a werewolf, falls in love with Bella, too. The third book deals with Bella's insatiable need to belong to and become one of the Cullen family members. It also dwells deeper into the love triangle between Edward, Bella, and Jake.
It was difficult for me to rate this addition to the series. Somewhere in the middle of the story, I felt like this was definitely my least favorite of the three, although I still thought it was greatly amusing to read. While I can really appreciate both Edward and Jake, Bella's immaturity finally got to me. There were more than a few times when I wanted to scream at her for being so foolish, so naïve. However, in the end all three books sort of mesh together to become one fantastic story and I had to rate ECLIPSE as part of the total package.
What I like most about this series is that the author was able to do two things simultaneously: First of all you are never under the impression that this is, or ever could be, a realistic tale, it is an enchanted fairytale. Secondly, Stephenie Meyer has the skill to pull you into the story and make you care about the characters as if they were real, as if this really could happen, as if it weren't just a fairy tale. Hats off to Ms. Meyer for creating such an incredibly entertaining story that can be loved by all ages, genders, monsters, and mythical creatures alike. All three books are full of romance, action, violence, mystery and sexual tension - something to please everybody!

Eclipse
One word Amazing. I have never been into vampire
book
s but I had heard so much about the
Twilight
series. My daughter just happen to bring the first one home to read and I immediately grabbed it and began reading. I finished that book in 2 days and off to the library for the second and third. I found the second and again 2 days and I was finished. I searched for the third which happened to be
Eclipse
and found it on Amazon along with an advance order for the forth in the series. I enjoyed the first two so much that I've orderd all four books. Eclipse was just as I expected full of excitement and definately left me wanting the fourth book!!!!!

book
thats interesting, funny, and relateable? i cant handle it, meyer is way too perfect! ppl diss bella by callin her a slut and all, but i feel kind of bad for her, shes fallen for two guys which shows that shes not into edward just for his looks. jake has been there for her when edward left, and its sad b.c u want her to be w/ edward but u cant help but feel sorry for jacob hes like the bestfriend but this time edward isnt the jerk boyfriend. i loveeed it, all of it. and i like how meyer showed rosalies and jaspsers side of the story, just so u can get to know them better. breaking dawn, i cant wait to read it.

Eclipse (The Twilight Saga Book 3)
The
book
was in perfect condition, arrived in good time, actually before I expected it. The book is a great book, the
Twilight
Saga
is a wonderful, enjoyable read that I would recommend to anyone. It is written well and keeps you hungry for the next.
Best one in the series as of yet
I actually waited in front of the store the day after finishing New Moon, until the store would open and I could finally get the
book
. Even a couple of hours took too long for me after finishing the second book and I couldn't wait until I started in it.
And it delivers, big time.
Edward is back and Bella is reunited with him. I love seeing how the two of them can show their affection in the smallest things. Even a simple glance or a brush of Edward's hand on Bella's cheek is enough to show how much they care for one another.
This is also the book that Bella does what I've been waiting for. She realizes her position. Being immortal and living next to Edward for the rest of her life is tempting, yes. But all the things she needs to sacrifice in order to get there; her family, friends, etc, they weigh up against the prospect of being a vampire. And I for one, was incredibly happy when she came to the realization that it would not be easy.
Also, the love between Jake and Bella (and I say love because it was definitely requited, but Bella just loved Edward more) is explored more. Which creates a triangle between the two of them and Edward and shows some pretty interesting scenes.
I've seen some comments that people were annoyed by how easily Edward seemed to give into the fact that Jake might be better for Bella, as he's more human etc. All I can say is: Compare it to the story of Solomon and the baby. The person that gives up is always the person that cares the most for that person.
The one problem I have with
Eclipse
was the fact that it got repetitive at some point. I think I've seen the sentence: "He narrowed his eyes infinitesimally" numerous times now and it kind of ticked me off. There are other ways to describe 'slightly' and using fancy words really doesn't spruce up the entire thing if you use it more than once in two chapters.
The book overall was better written than the previous two, it was more engaging and kept you reading on and on until the ending came. And much to quick, if I may add.
Highly recommended!
