Great insights.

I found this book to be very insightful re: the workings of the mind and the ruts the mind gets into ("samskaras"), especially regarding anger. It's a bit wordy. I think it could have been cut by one-third, but there are helpful points for the seeker, and for the average person working on him or herself. I have enjoyed some of Chopra's other books, and found others to be slightly insubstantial. This one is wonderful.

A book for your life

This book has much practical and lofty wisdom that is just invaluable. Many ideas and concepts found in classic spiritual writings are touched upon within these pages by way of the "Secrets". This is thus a sort of grand spiritual summary written especially for contemporary spiritual seekers and signposted by way of the secrets that could really be thought of as common knowledge at a higher level of consciousness than what is the norm in our society. There are many gems of truth that will strike a chord deep within. Most people that would read this book would, in all likelihood, already have a spiritual inclination. Deepak Chopra has given us a gift in writing this book for these times. I thus recommend it very highly.

This is the first book I've read of Deepak, and I must say, it is something that more people should check out. This book helped me realize new and better ways to go spiritually. A must read.
