Wonderful!

As a parent and a guidance counselor I have to say that this is the best approach that I have ever learned for raising children. It is a healthy way to raise responsible, loving, independent kids. I think the thing that I liked the most is that it takes anger out of the equation. As a parent I really liked that! I hope more parents will read this book and apply these principles when raising their young children. I also recommend the parenting teens with love and logic book as well. It is a great tool also.

A must-have for all parents!

I took this class while I was still pregnant and am so glad to have this book to review and reinforce what I learned way back then! These are easy, fun guidelines to manage your child's (and your) behavior to make the early years much more pleasurable! I am go grateful that I found this method of parenting!

Parenting Young Children

An excellent resource for parenting toddlers to elementary age children. Gives many creative ideas and tools in working with young children. My wife and I use many of its techniques with both our birth son and adopted daugther and found them very helpful. I suggest anyone who finds this book helpful to also consider "Parenting with Love and Logic" which is also co-authored by Jim Fay of The Love and Logic Press Inc.
