One of the better movies I've seen in a while

Children of Men is one of the better movies that I have seen lately. It looks great in HD. Very good storyline, good acting and excellent visuals. I would definitely recommend it.

Unlike any movie you've ever seen

Though different from James' original vision, Cuaron's film is well built both in style and in storytelling. Simply put, this guy really knows how to direct a movie.

Brave new world

A powerfully gripping vision, mainly in its most down-to-earth realism (hungry, illegal aliens at the gates of the few last enclaves of security).
Realism is concentrated on the logical consequences of a demographic collapse of the human race, however the political analysis of the war, waged against the inner as well as foreign terrorist-opponents, is also rather smashing. Not suitable for anyone allergic to blood, though!

It got good reviews, but to me it was not all it was made out to be. Interesting movie to watch though.
