The BEST software on the market

I would STILL be hand-coding my website as I type this review if it wasn't for Sitespinner.

Sitespinner is the best software purchase that I have made in the last five years because

o I created my site in less than a week
o the software is simple and straight forward
o the tech support (thanks to VM staff and an enthusiastic community) is the BEST technical support I have EVER experienced with any software product

I originally estimated that it would take me 3-4 solid weeks of coding to get my new website up and running. I hadn't done any html since about 1996 and so I really wasn't looking forward to having to do it all by hand.

I had looked at other WYSIWYG software, but historically, they had all been awful (you couldn't pay me to use front page). So I was dubious about CNET recommending Sitespinner when I downloaded it.

But let me tell you: I got my website up and running in about 4 days. It was incredible. What would've taken me days with nested tables took only an hour or two. Aligning text hassles? No problem. I did it in minutes.

That's not to say that I didn't have problems - I had never used it before so there was a bit of a learning curve. But the support forums were amazing - I had answers to my questions within an hour in some cases. And everyone pitched in to help me - from VM staff to regular community members. I now find myself going onto the forums everyday to see if there are any new tidbits that I can use to make my site better.

I would recommend it to anyone trying to build a website, whether an expert or a novice. Why spend hours or weeks building a website when Sitespinner will do most of the work for you? You can make the most basic or the most technical site with Sitespinner - it is highly adaptable.

As a side note: those of us who have given it 5 stars are honest about sitespinner's features. I disagree with this idea that these reviews are not helpful or honest. Sitespinner has the best features and functionality for its price tag without a doubt.

Fast Customer Service

When I had difficulty starting up the software, the customer service sent the correct information within a few hours. This is something I do not generally receive from anyone. I rate the customer service as a five-star service.

SiteSpinner is good software. Some complain of not being able to import HTML but I find cut and paste work just as easily as importing code. This software is, in my opinion, for intermediate or advanced HTML programmers and webpage designers. I do not recommend it for beginners unless they are willing to sit for several hours to learn how to use it. Everything has a learning curve to it. SiteSpinner works well for me when I use it in conjunction with other HTML editors. I do like its ability to manipulate images and create logos for websites. I always recommend this software.

Sitespinner works for me!

I have been using sitespinner for various personal and business purposes and it is great software. I even got my wife to learn how to do it and now she uses it for her business as well, which she updates weekly (it's a newsletter)

Customer support is great when you need them.

I don't demand too much of the programme, as I am a moderate-tech user; don't know how to program in HTML and don't want to. Just want to get relatively simple pages online with minimum of hassle - and it does that!

Please Be Suspicious!

Beware of "Planted" reviews. Why the suspicion? Well come on now, 30 (5) star reviews? No cons, only pros? All written by folks who sound as if write ads for a living. All the ads, errr I mean "reviews", touch upon different positive aspects of the product (never reapeating themselves). Until recently, all the reviewers listed had only submitted ONE review to amazon.com before! No typos? How many other products have you ever seen that were reviewed this well? Maybe the IPOD? Nope, just four stars. The Slinky? Get real!

Now just you watch, I bet the reviews following this one may start sounding a bit different.
