Easy to use and sturdy spring tension

I just had it set up and was very pleased by the strong spring tensioning in the horizontal bars. The only thing that offends me is that the official Amazon review and practical usage dictate that people are going to step over the gate, yet the manufacturer specifically instructs users not to do so in the documentation. Common sense perhaps, but the legalease is off-putting.

This product was delivered in a couple of days. Once assembled, it worked very well. I needed 60 and 3/4 inches so I added rubber feet to all four corners and the gate fits well. I would suggest purchasing this product.Evenflo Soft And Wide Gate Taupe & Chocolate

Great for large doorways

This is a nice sturdy gate for large doorways. It's also good for keeping pets out of certain rooms. I echo other comments that this isn't great for high-traffic doorways, but for occasionally keeping a toddler out of trouble, this gate has been nice to define a "safe" play area.

GREAT PRODUCT

The gate is very easy to install and fits the opening tight. I have a 46in opening between the hallway and my family room and after returning several gates this one is perfect. It keeps my 10 month old out of the hallway and I just can step over it when I need to. But if you need to remove it is very easy to do so. I love it.

Handy gate

This is working for our purpose to keep the little ones out of the kitchen but I do wish it had a gate due to the fact that we have almost hurt ourselves badly by climbing over it.
