Great pedometer

This is a great pedometer. It keeps track of four different items: steps, steps with exercise, kcal, and miles. It has a 7 day memory so that you can check back over the previous week. I just put it in my pocket and it keeps track of everything.

So Subtle!

I love this pedometer. I wanted to be able to wear a pedometer all day to accurately measure how many steps I take, but didn't want to have one visibly clipped to my belt especially at work. This pedometer is small enough that I can clip it to my bra strap and wear it under all my clothes without it showing at all! It's also very accurate, as long as it's vertical to the ground it'll register steps perfectly. Great for any woman who would rather not let the whole world she's wearing a pedometer. All my friends have bought one now.

Inspires Me to Keep Moving

After reading consumer reviews for all of the most popular pedometers on the market, I opted for the Omron HJ-112 Digital Premium. I wanted a simple device that didn't require a lot of programming, that measured walking steps (I don't need the expensive ones to measure running)and I wanted one that was known for accuracy in counting my actual steps. It's been over three weeks now, and I've been wearing it from morning until night each day. Because I can actual account for how many steps I'm really taking, there's no sense in trying to tell myself something different. Now, I'm adding steps wherever I can in an attempt to break my record from the previous day and am almost up to the 10,000 steps that are recommended daily. It is an inspiration and, for me, it challenges me and keeps me honest about how much activity I'm actually including in my day. The accuracy is pretty near 100% when I test it against my own count of 300 steps. The safety clip is really helpful too, because sometimes the big clip slides off when changing clothes, etc. so the smaller clip on the belt loop keeps it from slamming to the floor and breaking. It took about 3 minutes to measure my own stride, follow the simple instructions for inputting it, then begin using it. Kudos to Omron for the simplicity and accuracy! I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Very good pedometer

The Omron HJ-112 Digital Premium Pedometer is very accurate. I especially like the secondary clip, which is definitely a plus in case the primary clip slips off which occasionally it does. Luckily because I always attach both, my pedometer has not inadvertently slipped off during my walk. This has occurred with other pedometers that I have owned without this feature. The only feature I wish it had was a date on the display face.
