An instant classic.

Its Jack White and the Raconteurs. What else needs to be said? Hit the f---ing add to cart button and buy it.

Excellent band

If you like the White Strips you will love these guys even more. Jack White is a real talent, but having other talents on board makes all the difference.

Classic Rock

I've been listening to this album pretty much non-stop for the past 2 weeks.

It is easily the best album of 2008 (even though it's only May).

Consolers of the Lonely sounds like it was recorded in 1974!

Like equal parts White Stripes, The Band, Queen, Judas Priest, The Police, Fairport Convention, Jethro Tull, Phish, Derek and the Dominoes, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Who, King Crimson, CSNY, etc.

"Many Shades of Black" is a brilliant song. I would compare it to Queen and Cream (Queem?).

This is album oriented rock at its finest.

Great cd

This is a great 'driving' cd to listen to on road trips. It isn't as good as their first cd, but I really liked it alot.

Yea, not so much Buddy..

This is a good record. Not a great one. Jack White is a God. But this seams to pick up where the last White Stripes album stopped. "Consolers" doesn't have that song that you can sing to. There is no catchy riff. Which is what I loved so much about their first album. It was so different from Jack's other stuff, but didn't stray too far. This new album is for a fan, not a casual listener.
